To choose the correct size for you, measure your body as follows:

CHEST: Measure around the fullest part, place the tape close under the arms and make sure the tape is flat across the back.
WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline, keeping the tape level and parallel to the floor. Ensure the tape is not too tight or too loose.
HIP: Measure around the widest part of your hips, about 7-9 inches (18-23 cm) below your waistline. Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor.
LENGTH: Measure from the base of the neckline (where the shirt collar meets the shoulder) down to the desired length. For a formal shirt, the length is usually around 29-31 inches (74-79 cm) for a regular fit.
SLEEVES: Measure from the center back of your neck, over your shoulder, and down to your wrist. Bend your elbow slightly (around 90 degrees) to get the correct measurement.
SHOULDER: Measure across your shoulders, from the tip of one shoulder to the other, following the natural curve of your shoulder line. Keep the tape flat and level.

NOTE:

Remember to take your measurements in front of a mirror to ensure the tape is in the correct position. If possible, have someone help you take your measurements for accuracy.
